Document International Human Rights Film Festival
(Glasgow, United Kingdom)

Document, as the only dedicated international human rights documentary film festival in Scotland - one of only two such festivals in the UK - provides a unique platform for international documentary filmmakers and promotes local and international discussion, cultural exchange and education. Now entering its eleventh year, Document aims to use film as an advocacy tool to raise the profile and promote debate of human rights and social issues across the globe. Document collaborates with many individuals and organizations to highlight the issues raised in the films, and engages with local communities via ongoing education and outreach activities throughout the year.

Within the project, Document will undertake to work closely with MakeDox in developing educational and audio-visual tools in both an international and UK-specific context, and expediting the development of the work towards a broad and adaptable cross-cultural educational paradigm.
