We are Visual! in Amsterdam

Hosted by the Movies that Matter Foundation, the first training took place in Amsterdam in November 2012.

This 5-day meeting, as defined at the meeting in Skopje, aimed at strengthening the partners’ capacities and qualifications and at developing a more defined human rights teaching manual methodologies. Therefore, two lectures were organized – one by the Movies that Matter Foundation and another one by Amnesty International. The Movies that Matter’s lecture not only presented more closely the methodology that the Educational Department has developed in its years-long experience in working with schools but also engaged the project partners in discussion and development of new possible methodological approaches.

Moreover, the Amsterdam training was a unique opportunity for all the project partners to attend IDFA and get a first-hand look at the abundant film selection, particularly at the Kids & Docs program.
